Recover deleted MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and HEVC video from phones, cameras, GoPros, drones, dashcams, and computer drives. SafeRestore handles fragmented video files (typical for 4K and 8K) by stitching keyframe-aligned chunks back into playable clips.
MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WMV, FLV, M4V, 3GP, plus modern H.265/HEVC and AV1. Resolutions from SD up to 8K. ProRes and DNxHD professional codecs supported.
Modern 4K/8K video files are written across thousands of disk clusters. We identify keyframes (I-frames), order them, and rebuild a playable file even when the index is destroyed.
GoPro HERO 9/10/11/12, DJI Mavic/Mini/Air, Insta360, Sony RX series, and dashcam loop files. We handle proprietary chapter-split MP4 used by GoPro and Sony.
Full deep scan + 4K/8K video carving + fragment stitching. One-time purchase, lifetime license.

Yes — videos work the same way as any other file. When deleted, only the index entry is removed; the video data sits on disk until overwritten. SafeRestore reads the raw clusters and reassembles the video by finding keyframes (I-frames) and stitching them back together.
Fully supported. Larger video files are actually more recoverable in one sense — they leave bigger, more identifiable footprints on disk. Deep Scan takes longer (a 128 GB card with 4K footage takes 30-60 minutes), but recovery rate is high if no new recordings happened after deletion.
Often yes. GoPro 'corrupt clip' messages usually mean the moov atom (file index) wasn't written before the camera shut down. SafeRestore reconstructs the moov atom from the raw video stream and the file plays normally afterward.
If the video was in your camera roll and is in the Recently Deleted album (30-day window), restore it from there directly. After 30 days, SafeRestore extracts videos from your iPhone's iTunes/Finder backup or iCloud backup.
Yes. Recovered videos are output as standard MP4, MOV, or AVI files that play in QuickTime, VLC, Windows Media Player, and any video editor. Audio sync is preserved because we keep audio and video streams together during stitching.
On SD cards and USB drives where no new recording happened after deletion: typically 85-98% of clips fully recovered. On hard drives with continued use: 50-80%, with some clips being partial. Time matters more than anything — recover sooner for better odds.
