Check Google Drive Trash first (files stay 30 days). For Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, use File → Version history to restore earlier versions. Workspace admins can restore deleted files within 25 days via admin.google.com. Personal accounts can request recovery at drive.google.com/drive/recover within 25 days.

Contact Google support via drive.google.com/drive/recover within 25 days of permanent deletion. For Google Workspace users, your admin can restore via admin.google.com → Users → Restore data. If Drive for Desktop was syncing locally, SafeRestore can scan the synced folder for deleted copies.
